Student attendance and grants

The ISCLR offers student grants to enable graduate students, post-doctoral students and clinical residents to attend the Fourteenth Symposium. Grants cover the lowest economy return airfare and twin share accommodation for five days.

Successful students are generally requested to present either a five minute powerpoint presentation, or poster, of their work. They will also be expected to participate in relevant discussion periods. Successful students will also be asked to provide administrative and audio visual support to the Secretariat at the meeting.

Student grants are intended for those who are actively involved in contact lens or related areas of research. Applicants must complete the Student Application Form (see below) with appropriate signature(s) from their student advisor, who should also be a member of ISCLR, and an abstract that should include purpose, methods, results and conclusions. The abstract should not exceed one single-spaced typed page.

Please note that if an abstract is submitted for a poster, the maximum dimensions for the poster are 2.0metres x 0.9metres. Applications must be supported by a current ISCLR member or they will not be considered.
