The Sixteenth ISCLR Symposium will be held at Silverado Resort and Spa, California from 21-26 August 2011.
Scientific Program
The conference is scheduled to commence on Sunday 21st August 2011 and concludes on Friday 26th August 2011 at noon. On Sunday 21st August 2011, please arrange to arrive in time to attend the following events, depending on your role in the ISCLR:
Executive meeting: 12 noon
Student meeting: 2.00pm
Council meeting: 4.00pm
Welcome reception: 6.00pm (all)

Dress Code for the Meeting
The dress code for the meeting is casual and this also includes the Welcome Reception on the Sunday evening. The gala dinner is to be held on the evening of Thursday 25th August 2011 and the dress code is 'black tie'.
Partners
Partners are welcome to attend the Welcome Reception. To facilitate this please contact Craig Woods to let him know if you are bringing a partner and (just for completeness) their name.
Abstracts
There is one abstract submission form 
for members and one for students. The student form also contains further details about grant applications. All presentations will be five minutes in duration, and successful students will be expected to present a poster and to deliver a verbal presentation of their work.
The deadline for submissions is Thursday 21st April, 2011. All abstract submissions are to be emailed directly Craig Woods at the ISCLR Secretariat: craig.woods@deakin.edu.au
Meeting Registration
If you are planning to attend the meeting and do not intend to submit an abstract, please still complete the attached abstract submission form .
Stipends
As in previous years, the society intends to offer stipends to
attending full members. The levels of stipend are still being
considered as sponsorship is confirmed and as currency values alter. For reference, for the last meeting the levels of re-imbursement were
35%-55% of estimated costs, based on your position in the society
(members, councilors and executive).

We have block-booked rooms for the conference at the Silverado Resort and Spa. Rooms can be booked via the resort website, the booking code has been sent to you. You will need the booking code to be eligible for the negotiated reduced room rates. If you need to be reminded of the booking code please contact Craig Woods.
